PROPESP
The Pro-Rectorate for Research and Postgraduate Studies of the State University of Amazonas is responsible for planning, coordinating, and strengthening research activities and postgraduate education at the institution.
Research Projects
Classified into two modalities: Individual Projects, submitted to funding agencies by UEA faculty members, who are themselves the grant recipients; and Institutional Projects, which are structuring projects proposed by UEA Senior Management and carried out by the University’s researchers.
Laboratories
Through the Laboratory Directory, records of the infrastructure, those responsible, and the equipment of UEA’s teaching and research spaces are compiled, in addition to diagnostics and dissemination to the entire community.
Scientific Initiation
The Scientific and Technological Initiation Program (PICT-UEA) aims to engage undergraduate students in research activities, providing qualified academic training and encouraging scientific production under the supervision of faculty members.
Internationalization
It comprises actions aimed at internationalization, promoting cooperation between foreign institutions, academic mobility for faculty and students, as well as strengthening research and scientific production on a global scale.
Lato Sensu Postgraduate Studies
It comprises specialization programs aimed at professional development, focusing on updating knowledge, developing technical skills, and practical application in specific market areas.
Postgraduate Studies Stricto Sensu
It comprises master’s and doctoral programs focused on academic and scientific training and research.
